monthly meeting at the Winter Park Public Library, 460 E. New England
Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32789, at 10:00 A.M. typically on the first Saturday

CFRW has 54
authors in varying stages of writing. Our members are very supportive
of each other, both with our successes and our disappointments. We are
proud that our dynamic membership has achieved the following:
Two of our
published authors have been RITA Finalists.
Four members have
become Golden Heart Finalists.
Twenty-twp members
qualified for the RWA PRO pin.
Joining CFRW:
We invite all
newcomers to attend at least two meetings to get to know us and

Benefits of
membership in this local RWA chapter include:
One-on-one mentoring program
An audio lending-library
The opportunity to
submit five pages for a critique by two published authors
The chance to interact with fellow romance enthusiasts
Our One-On-One Mentoring Program:
For a three-month period you have access
via email to your very own Answer Person. Your mentor will answer your
questions about the business of writing and give you advice on pitching
your book to editors and agents, fine-tuning a synopsis, the ups and
downs of contests, conferences, critique groups, etc. What they can't
do, however is critique your work. They are all busy people and
critiquing requires a great deal of time. Each author will let you know
what they are willing to do and how much time they can give you. All
they ask in return is that you support them when you can by reading some
of their books, sending reviews to book sites or encouraging friends and
family to attend their book signings. Whatever you are able to do will
be appreciated.
