Central Florida Romance Writers is an affiliate chapter of the national organization of Romance Writers of America®. CFRW is made up of some of Central Florida’s most dedicated romance authors. Our membership is comprised of over twenty published authors and those who are still journeying towards that goal. We meet once a month and welcome visitors. Savannah Stuart placed third in RWI’s More than Magic contest in the novella category with Unleashed Temptation. Linda Friar finalled in the Daphne Du Maurier Awards (unpublished), historical category with Vengeance is Mine. Roxanne St. Claire finalled in the Daphne Du Maurier Awards (published) in the single title romantic suspense category with Hunt Her Down. Ruth Owen placed 1st in the 2010 Winter Rose contest (Yellow Rose Romance Writers), series contemporary category, with Return to Paradise Bay. Katie Reus placed 3rd in Passionate Ink’s Passionate Plume (published) contest in the contemporary category with Running From the Past. Jeanan Davis finalled in the Beacon (First Coast RWA), romantic suspense category, with BLOWDOWN Shauna Hart finalled in the EPPIE’s with THE PLEASURE OF SIN Lori Sjoberg finalled in the 2009 Launching a Star contest with LIFE’LL KILL YOU Tracy Truman took first place in the 2009 On the Far Side contest, erotic category, with MIA CASE FILES: WOLFSBANE Charlie Alldredge took first place in the 2009 On the Far Side contest, futuristic category, with UNSPEAKABLE ACTS New Contracts: Dara Edmondson: LooseId, Ellora’s Cave Savannah Stuart: LooseId Lara Dien: Wild Rose Press Tracy Truman: LooseId Congratulations to all our members as their careers take off! |
